Adolescent Health Advocacy Day
Join us for Adolescent Health Advocacy Day (AHAD) for an opportunity to share youth voices at the North Carolina General Assembly and demonstrate #YOUthLEADingCHANGE. This event is designed especially for young people - both in groups and as individuals - who want to connect with other young people, meet legislators, and share why their health matters.

Time: Check-in - 8am-9am; Program - 9am-12:30pm; Legislative Visits - In the afternoon or when scheduling allows
Location: NC Museum of History with legislative visits at the North Carolina General Assembly

Time: Check-in begins at 8am
Location: Meet at the NC Museum of History (Daniels Auditorium) for check-in and program. Legislative visits will happen at the North Carolina General Assembly, just across the street from the museum.
8:00am - Check-in opens
9:00am - 12:30pm - Program featuring youth panelists, artists, adult allies, and state officials
Afternoon: Groups are encouraged to make legislative visits in the afternoon, but may need to make visits earlier in the day based on legislators' availability.
Meals: Meals are not provided. We can provide you with a list of nearby, group-friendly restaurants.
Who Should Attend: AHAD is primarily for young people, although adult allies are very welcome to attend. Both groups and individuals can attend. Registration is required so we can plan appropriately.
