Participants will walk away with an understanding of the differences between sex assigned at birth, gender identity and sexual orientation. In addition, the webinar will increase participant understanding of gender neutral pronouns and review outdated language for allies to avoid. This LGBTQ+ affirming terminology webinar will ultimately increase participant comfort with validating sexual and gender diversity in young people and serve as foundation to March 18th’s Creating LGBTQ+ Affirming Intake Forms webinar.
